Have breakfast Can Reduce Risk of Heart Attack
Washington Research Work: Skipping breakfast could make you vulnerable to heart attack, warn US researchers. Older men who missed breakfast are a quarter more likely to have a cardiac arrest or die from coronary disease than those who do, Daily Mail reported.

Missing a morning meal or eating very late at the night may trigger changes in the metabolism that leads to coronary heart disease so we must take a healthy and light breakfast early in the morning before going to any work or school.

It may also affect blood sugar and hormone levels that make heart disease more likely in the human body. Men who ate after going to bed had a 55 percent high-er coronary heart disease risk than those who did not.

Your cat may give you TB.

It is feared one in a thousand cats could be carrying the mycobacteria. Cats may be picking up the disease while exploring countryside badger setts or one of the following reasons:

When coming in contact with infected rodents and cattle.
Contaminated milk, veterinarians believe.

The latest research found that in one year 17 percent of the 187 cats diagnosed with TB had the bovine strain. UK's chief veterinary officer Nigel Gibbens said that cats did present a growing threat to humans. The study was published in the journal Trans-boundary and Emerging Diseases.

Kids living with grandparents may be obese (Overweight)
Children looked after by their grandparents are more likely to be overweight, claims a new study. Researchers from the University of Helsinki-Finland, studied about 9,000 families in the UK for this purpose.

Then they found that one in every three children aged three who were looked after by grandparents was obese. The Independent reported that in the past, and in traditional societies today, grandparental care has always been very crucial to improving child survival rates.

The Researchers said that “Grandmother Investment aimed at improving grandchildren's nutrition in subsistence societies may have different outcomes in contemporary affluent societies".

Researchers compared the weight of children at the age of 3 years who were cared for mainly by their grandmothers with those cared for by their parents. Overall, 23.6 percent of the children were overweight. The findings suggested grandparents were exacerbating the trend towards less healthy eating patterns. Mr. Aric Sigman, a health education lecturer and psychologist said that grandparents today are older than ever which means their nutritional understanding is from a different era so their simple understanding of what makes children fat is not as developed as that of later generations".
